The Lünersee, once one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the Eastern Alps, lies at an altitude of 1,970 m. It is located at the end of the Brandnertal valley.
Families, mountain fans and nature lovers will find a wide range of activities here. The Lünersee is the starting point for numerous hikes, including to the Schesaplana, the highest mountain in the Rätikon. The unique nature of the Rätikon, the fresh mountain air and a breathtaking Alpine panorama make the visit a unique experience. Fishermen will also find optimal conditions on the Lünersee.
In addition, alpine climbing tours such as the Kirchlispitzen or the Schesaplana are among the most beautiful leisurely climbing tours in the Rätikon.
You can reach the car park for the Lünersee valley station in about 30 minutes from Mama Käthe.

Whether you are interested in a small Madeisa circular route (approx. 30 min.), the art path (approx. 60 min) or you decide the big mountain routes - the experience of the vastness also fascinates locals again and againr new.
The area around the Muttersberg offers hiking experiences for all levels. Hiking fun for young and old!
You can reach the car park at the Muttersberg valley station in about 15 minutes from Mama Käthe.

Enjoy the wonderful walks and long hikes to the most diverse natural beauties. On the Alpe Gamp you can easily forget all the troubles of everyday life.
You can reach the hiking car park for Alpe Gamp from Mama Käthe in about 16 minutes.
There are many reasons why young and old love the Nenzinger Himmel nature park so much. A great event! Not to mention the roaring waterfall near the valley.
It can be reached from Mama Käthe in about 30 minutes by bus or taxi.
CLIMBING GARDENS in VORARLBERG
There are around 33 official climbing gardens in the Bregenzerwald, Rheintal, Walgau, Montafon and Arlberg with numerous routes and levels of difficulty.
